I had no clear idea at school of a future career and it was quite by chance that an after-school job introduced me to the world of flowers. As my experience in the industry grew so did my love of flowers and the unfailing pleasure they can bring to people.

I knew early on that my desire to create was strong and so, in 1997, I opened Blomster Designs as a small local florist and it was from here that my journey truly began.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to create bespoke floral designs for numerous clients - from large lavish occasions to small intimate affairs. By nurturing and developing my relationship with my clients I am able to convey the sense of occasion they hope to achieve, displaying some of nature's most beautiful flowers set in perfect harmony with their surroundings.

The time I spend away with my family allows me to reconnect with the world away from the hustle and bustle of hotels and events. Being amongst the mountains and lakes provides me the opportunity to slow down and look at the natural world with fresh eyes. Further travel throughout Europe, and with time spent in Scandinavia has deepened the love I have for the art of design. It is often at the most unexpected of times that I find myself considering new designs inspired by a breath-taking vista, an exciting building or simply by watching the movements of life around me.

Flowers hold in themselves the true spirit and beauty of nature and it is my gift as a floral designer to be able to take this natural beauty and create a piece of living art for all to enjoy.
